Rental Terms and Conditions

To rent a bike you must be 18 years-old or older, or accompanied by an adult. All e-bike riders must be 18+. You must present a valid driver's license or ID, (to be recorded by Wheelhouse Bike Co.LLC). Credit Card is the only payment for all reservations (no cash). A hold may be put on your credit card until the bike is returned. The renter will be charged the full retail value for any rental equipment that is not returned due to loss or theft. Rentals are for 14 days max and then they must be checked back in for maintenance before renting again. We have 5 parking spots for bike rental customers, so bring or rent a car rack and park at one of the nearby public lots. Bicycles can not be stored at Wheelhouse while they are out on a reservation. Bicycles brought back to Wheelhouse will automatically end the reservation.  A waiver must be signed by the person booking the reservation to cover everyone in their party, to be kept at Wheelhouse Bike Co.LLC

Bike rentals are available for in-person booking at our shop. You can come in and see what we have available on the day you want to start your rental. Bikes are chosen based on the height of the rider. We do not offer advanced reservations. If you do not want to ride the bikes home, you can arrange to have them delivered in Chatham at the end of the day. You can also arrange to have them picked up at the end of your rental.

rental refund Policy

No money will be refunded on bikes returned early, or bikes that are switched out for a different size. This is because we have turned away other potential bike rental customers while holding the rental equipment for your reservation. Once the bicycles have left the Wheelhouse parking lot the reservation has started. We do not refund partial reservations. We do not give refunds for inclement weather. Payment is made in full at the confirmation of the reservation. If more items are added later the remainder of the balance must be paid when bikes are returned.
